The latest installment in the PixCell series invites a new perceptual experience and evokes an infinitely expanding world of color. In PixCell-Random, the colors of the beads shift and flicker depending on the viewer’s angle. The base image is generated by a custom program that randomly arranges dot colors, ensuring that every color appearing on the work is unique. With each iteration, a new dataset is created, resulting in multiple works, each with a completely different arrangement of colors.
"PixCell-Random (Square)" adopts a new rectangular format based on a perfect square, with the frame, mat, and background color unified in grey. This refined presentation not only allows the work to adapt seamlessly to any exhibition space, but also successfully enhances and expands the viewer’s perceptual experience.
