- After studying Japanese-style painting, Hideo Takashima became interested in “three-dimensionality in space,” and after studying crafts and sculpture, he arrived at his current expression. The drawings, created at the suggestion of Satoshi Hayashi, former director of Nomart, have a color palette similar to that of his ceramic works, and are a return to his roots while reflecting the three-dimensional sensibility he has cultivated over the years.
