Kurumi Kotani has consistently exhibited paintings based on the theme of traces and signs of existence.
This work is one of the new series [Silver], in which silver foil attached to fabric is drawn by sulfurizing it in a smoking solution. Kotani's method of expression is to artificially generate a phenomenon that originally occurs in nature over time.
