"Travel" is a series of 144 black-and-white miniature photographic works by Asako Tanaka that depict scenes from her daily life captured from her unique perspective on the theme of "travel". Starting with the exhibition "Asako Tanaka / travel" at Gallery Nomart in 2014, the exhibition has been held continuously as a traveling work/exhibition in Japan and abroad (*To date, the exhibition has been held at six venues in Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul).
This work is a limited edition of 100 copies of 144 original prints hand-printed by the artist for the exhibition, reproduced in the same size, in the form of palm-sized cards, set inside a box with a list of the 144 prints.
