"Hideki Kimura: Project Periods 2015 - 2018" is a project that presents a series of Hideki Kimura's past, present, and future work. The project was held seven times at Gallery Nomart over a period of four years, each time presenting new prints in accordance with the theme of the exhibition. A total of 10 new prints were produced and exhibited.
This work is a limited edition of 7 sets of the above 10 new prints in a special tatou case.

Artist Comment / Hideki KIMURA
These series of seven exhibitions of my works, Periods, introduces you to the developmental phases through which I have been producing my works since 1972. These exhibitions will, I hope, invoke the radical change of the way you see my works at each period; while introduced chronologically — in a retrospective, not speculative, manner, they are at the same time experienced in technical, material, subjective and chronological aspects as inarticulate, precisely because these aspects are repeated, and interwoven or permeated with one another. To discover another kind of differentiation in my career of producing works of art, contributing it toward the new sort of development — this may constitute the challenge that I’d like to assign myself to face through Periods.
