The inspiration for this series comes from two things: the experience of living in an apartment building, and a famous painting in the National Palace Museum in Taipei called Elegant Gathering in the West Garden. In the painting Elegant Gathering in the West Garden, ancient scholars and artists get together to share their ideas. Today, I imagine people getting together inside different rooms of a big building, doing all kinds of things. In one room, there is a party. In another room, there is a secret religious meeting. In yet another room, people are playing an escape room game. These scenes show us—the viewers—acting like a "sky eye" (or a giant security camera). We look at everything people do in the building, collect their information, upload it to the cloud, and turn it into big data.
