Private Zoo
For me, painting is something I want to enjoy privately, a personal sanctuary.
I spend my time either gazing absentmindedly or observing keenly the events that unfold around me, enjoying different perspectives while seriously searching for something I can bring into my own paradise.
I love animals, I love people, and I love the expressions of mountains, rivers, trees, and plants. I cherish the sight of a world that lives with joy, struggle, and determination. If I can capture that pure feeling in my work, it would make me truly happy.
Acknowledgment The title Private Zoo was given to me by Satoshi Hayashi, the former director of Gallery Nomart, who sadly passed away in November 2024. I am deeply grateful to have been guided by his intuition and to have the opportunity to hold this exhibition.
